Membership Types

Full membership (CHF 100.- / year)
For psychologists of Swiss nationality, or working or living in Switzerland, who hold a degree higher than a Bachelor’s degree; (i.e., Master, Lizentiat, Diploma, Magister, or Ph.D.) in psychology (as a major) issued by an institution of higher education (university or university of applied sciences).

Associated membership (CHF 75.- / year)
For people who don’t have a higher education degree in psychology, but who are of Swiss nationality or work or live in Switzerland and whose occupation is related to positive psychology (e.g., educators, social workers, or people who perform consulting tasks).

Student membership (CHF 35.- / year)
For psychology students of Swiss or other nationality who study in Switzerland and are aiming to obtain a degree in the major psychology (Master, Lizentiat, Diplom, Ph.D.). Students holding a B.Sc. degree who continue to be enrolled in a psychology program can continue to be student members of SWIPPA. Additionally, psychology students of Swiss nationality who study abroad can also be accepted as student members.

General information about membership

  • For participants and graduates of the CAS in Positive Psychology UZH and UniL, membership is free for the first year (calendar year up to December 31 of the same year, regardless of the date of registration).
  • The membership is automatically renewed for another year.
  • A termination of membership must be communicated in writing (by e-mail) by the end of the respective calendar year and becomes effective at the end of the year.
